ECHS Football Family, Happy New Year to you all! I hope you enjoyed meaningful time with family over the break and are stepping into this new year refreshed and ready for what lies ahead.
As we move forward together into the 2026 Football Season, our focus is clear... to continue building young men who are teachable, trainable, and courageous, on the field, in the classroom, in the community, and in life. What we are building takes time, intention, and consistency, and we are grateful to partner with families who value that purpose and this process.
One of our core commitments as a program is to teach well, train well, and test well. The testing our athletes experience through football, school, and life is not simply to measure performance, but to reveal growth and character in our young men and to measure how well we are teaching and training as coaches. This requires clarity in expectations, discipline in preparation, and humility in learning. Good things take time, and meaningful growth for each one of us is always forged through patience, discomfort, and commitment.
2026 Planning Ahead and Standards/Expectations As we enter the 2026 Football Season, the expectation for all players is to attend all Organized Team Activities unless they are designated as Voluntary or during a CIF Dead Period. We are sharing our calendar early and intentionally so families can plan well, protect family time, and avoid unnecessary conflicts. Thank you for partnering with us in this important work.
Below are the key offseason and summer dates. Please take time now to mark these on your calendar.
