This Week in Baseball: April 21-26
We hope everyone had a great Easter, a relaxing Spring Break, and is feeling ready to get back to baseball!
JV SCHEDULE THIS WEEK:
Monday: Game @Home against Coastal Academy at 4:00.
Tuesday: Practice at Hidden Valley MS from 4:15-6:00 (pickup at 6:10).
Wednesday: Practice at Hidden Valley MS from 4:15-6:00 (pickup at 6:10).
Thursday: Practice at Hidden Valley MS from 4:15-6:00 (pickup at 6:10).
Friday: Practice at Hidden Valley MS from 4:15-6:00 (pickup at 6:10).
Saturday: Game @Del Dios MS against Classical at 10:30.
VARSITY SCHEDULE THIS WEEK:
Monday: No Practice
Tuesday: Game @Army Navy at 3:30. Early release for players at 1:15.
All players, make sure to bring rubber cleats/turf shoes. I don't believe they allow metal cleats.
Pitchers, make sure to bring tennis shoes. No cleats of any kind allowed on their mound.
Wednesday: Game @Calvin Christian at 4:00. Early release at 2:15.
Thursday: Practice at Hidden Valley MS from 4:15-6:00 (pickup at 6:10).
Friday: Game @Orange Glen at 3:30. Early release for players at 1:55.
A few notes for both teams:
-Warmup before games starts ONE HOUR before game time. Players should be present, in uniform and cleats, and have team equipment ready ahead of time so warmup can begin on time.
-For home games, players have 35 minutes from the time of their early release to the time warmup begins. This should be plenty of time to get to the field and get all team equipment set up.
-A team van is available for each road game. Spots are limited. A sign up sheet for seats in the van will be made available the day prior to each game.
